Our service

smsforme.com is a back office for shops to record customers and jobs and send SMS or email reminders to the shop’s customers. A new account can send messages once we have verified the shop and approved its sender name.

Accounts and security

• Sign-up details must be true, and you are responsible for keeping your password safe.
• The shop owner is responsible for the actions of staff they add.
• Tell us immediately if you suspect someone is using your account without permission.

Acceptable use

You agree to message only your shop’s own customers, and not to:

• Send promotional messages to people who have not opted in.
• Upload lists or numbers obtained elsewhere without permission.
• Send illegal, deceptive, gambling or illegal lending content, or impersonate another person or organisation.
• Use a sender name that does not belong to your shop.
• Try to bypass the message filter or access another shop’s data.

Messages and filtering

To prevent scams, the system does not send messages containing links and may refuse messages with banned words. Promotional messages are sent only within set hours. Messages that can no longer be delivered in time are not sent.

Plans, credits and payment

• Monthly fees and included SMS follow the pricing page at the time you sign up.
• Included SMS are for that month and do not roll over. The system uses included SMS first, then purchased credits.
• Thai messages longer than 70 characters count as multiple messages, as on every mobile network.
• If the SMS gateway rejects a message, the credit is refunded automatically.
• Purchased credits cannot be exchanged for cash, except when we are unable to provide the service.
• We give at least 30 days’ notice of price changes.

Delivery

We pass each message to mobile networks as soon as it is due, but we cannot guarantee that every message reaches every phone, or at an exact time, as this depends on the networks and the recipient’s device.

Your data

The customer data you record belongs to your shop. You can export it to Excel at any time, and we use it only as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for obtaining your customers’ consent as the law requires.

Suspension and cancellation

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend sending or the account immediately if we find use that breaks these terms or receive complaints from recipients, and we will tell you why.

Liability

The service is provided as is. Our liability for direct damage is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the event. We are not liable for indirect loss such as lost revenue, unless caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Thai law. We announce significant changes in the back office in advance.
